I haven't had much time to post the last week, but last weekend was a lot of fun with Sean's bachelor party in Atlantic City on Friday and then his wedding at Dover Downs on Saturday. I'm still waiting to get some photos that Aaron took at the party, but I'll have a gallery from the Bachelor Party up hopefully by the end of the week. Here are the photos that Ashley & I took at the wedding:

Yesterday we took another day trip up to New York City. I've been TiVo'ing lots of shows about NYC on the Travel Channel & Food Network, so we made a point of hitting up some restaurants and bars that we had recently learned about. We also checked out Nintendo World, which was a giant Nintendo store/museum, so that was like a childhood dream realized. It was really hot (upwards of 90 degrees all day), but we had a blast. Photos From The C-5 Refueling Flight
Even though we were up late on Friday night having drinks with Byron & Jillian, we still made it up in time on Saturday to take the C-5 Refueling Flight. We had to be on base at 8:00AM to get a pre-flight brief, then we were bused over to the Passenger Terminal to go through security. We were on the plane by 9:00AM, and we finally took off at 10:15AM after they did some maintenance on the plane. It was crazy walking around in the cargo area on that thing midflight, and going into the cockpit for the refueling portion was just surreal. It was definitely worth getting up early on a Saturday morning. You can check out our photos at: http://www.justonwestern.com/Photos/C-5Flight/

Going on a C-5 Flight this Saturday
I signed Ashley & I up for a 2.5 hour C-5 refueling flight this Saturday at 8:00AM. Neither of us have ever even been in a C-5, but after seeing these things fly overhead for the past 4 months, I thought I should jump at the chance to actually go up in one of these mammoths. Public Affairs told me that I could bring my camera on board, so I should have some photos up by Sunday evening.

New York City & NASCAR
Well, the first week of June got started off with a bang. My brother Matthew flew into Philadelphia on Thursday night, and Ashley & I took him out to TGIFriday's in Dover at around 10:30PM before getting to bed. On Friday, I had to work security at Dover Downs for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, but poor weather postponed it. Unfortunately for me, they didn't make the call to postpone the race until after I had already spent 9 hours in the rain.
On Saturday the three of us headed up to New York City on the Leisure Travel bus that Dover AFB operates. You can check out my pictures from the trip at: http://www.justonwestern.com/Photos/NYCJune05/
On Sunday we headed a few miles away from our apartment to the Dover Speedway for the NASCAR MBNA 400. We all got sunburnt, but had a good time. You can check out photos from that day at: http://www.justonwestern.com/Photos/MBNA400/
Today I took leave and brought Math back to Philly to catch his plane, and then ran some errands around Dover. These extended weekends are tiring, but very entertaining!
