Vote For Juston's Two SXSW 2014 Panels
For SXSW 2014, I've submitted two panels for consideration. One focuses on the evolution of wearable technology, and the other is a historical look at the electronic music culture that thrived in New Orleans at the beginning of the last decade. Detailed descriptions for each are contained in the links below.
Public voting on panel submissions accounts for 30% of the selection criteria, with the other 70% consisting of evaluation by SXSW staff & advisors. If you can spare a few minutes and find either of these topics interesting, I'd be honored if you could vote for mine.
First, if you don't already have a SXSW account, you'll need to sign up for one first. It's free, and is easy to get setup here:
Voting does require you to be signed into your SXSW account.

Speaking at Ignite Houston
I'm pleased to announce I'll be speaking at the inaugural Ignite Houston event taking place at C2 Creative on February 23, 2012 at 6:30PM. Ignite events have been held in over 100 cities worldwide, and are composed of a series of 5 minute talks, each with slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds. It's kind of like TED, but faster. You can learn more about the concept, and watch thousands of Ignite talks at the official site.
My talk is entitled "Use The Cloud To Be An Awesome Dad". In it I will describe some creative ways to leverage the cloud to accomplish your parental tasks and be a hero to your kids. Since I have twin daughters arriving in one month, I've been giving a lot of thought to how I'll use technology and the internet to make their lives special. My Ignite talk will cover some of what I've learned and will hopefully be useful to other parents.

Upcoming Talk On Mobile At TribeCon 2011 In New Orleans
